I have a first edition Tubeman and it goes into microphonic feedback in the higher gain , higher treble settings. Checked my gear, changed the tube...nothing.
The tubes are turning black from silver at the top, looks like overheating.
Anyone have any suggestions as to what the problem may be.

I have run some tests and read some info and it looks like I could have a michrophonic cap or a bad transformer...any other suggestions?
