Hey, just wanted to let everyone know that the Nick Greer pedals are the best around. I've had the Sonic Boom, it's a clean boost, and the Black Fuzz for a few months now and I am no longer looking for anythingelse. These pedals Rock. The sonic boom take your guitar signal, fattens is slightly, and puts it at the volume you specify with the one knob on it's front. Easiest pedal in the world to use. The Black Fuzz gives you just the right amount of fuzz. It's one knob is volume. I set up the Black Fuzz for rhythm then use the Sonic Boom to boost the signal for leads, or use the Sonic Boom by itself for clean leads. A great combination. Search for "Nick Greer" on Yahoo, you won't be dissapointed.

Hey, Doug! Glad you dig the Sonic Boom! I've had mine for a year now and still am digging it. It stays on all the time in my rig.

I have thought of getting the Black Fuzz before, but the thought of only one knob made me shy away...maybe the Black Fuzz Custom would suit better.

Nick drops in the guitar pedals forum from time to time and is well liked by all the guys there.

beckanon,
the Black Fuzz is great in my opinion. But, I do find it to be a bit much when my amp sound is already over driven. Basicaly when I use my Blues Junior the amp is already distorting so I want to use a little less fuzz. So, I'll use Nick's Ghetto Stomp. When I use my Pro-Reverb, for shows, I use the Black Fuzz because the amp is cleaner. I think Nick has the Black Fuzz tuned in just right, however he does make a bunch of different pedals to suit individual taste. I was fortunate enough to buy my pedal from a shop that has quite a variety of his pedals on hand.
