EH Micro Synth has been on my pedalboard for about 2 yrs. It still makes new and exciting sounds. The unit is kinda big but the sounds are just limitless. Not for the vintage tone head but more for the person who wants new sounds. I would rate this pedal 10 out of 10...

i own a EH Bassballs and it really works nicely in my bass rig...gives me a chance for expression and some different texture...i have the new usa re-issue and it's pretty quiet...the distortion switch is ok but not very flexible

i also have the octave multiplexor and i love the small changes i can dial in...this pedal gives a thick powerful sound when you want it...i find that it distorts too heavily if i switch the sub toggle up...if you hold a long sustained not on bass it does well for about 4-5 seconds then it starts to search for the octave...overall, it's a nice expression pedal for a bassist when applied properly and in the right part of a song...

both pedals are ruggedly built...i wish the Multiplexor had an indicator light for when it's activated like the bassballs has

The big muff pi rocks! I have a re-issue, one of the russian-made ones, the black one. It's the ultimate in high gain fuzz. The thing growls like the end of the world. If you're looking for the ultimate VROOOM sound (to quote billy corgan), check out the big muff pi. And you can get one for about 60 bucks. [Big Grin]

I'm a big fan of the LPB-2. It was my first pedal and still have it (although i stuffed it into a hammond enclosure). I've tried a lot of boost pedals and always seem to come back to this one. For those of you who haven't tried one, they tend to go pretty inexpensively on ebay. I recommend them highly.

the reviews are right...the EH Bassballs is nice but it is a "one trick pony" and EATS batteries...buy a 9v!

Anyone tried the LPB2ube yet? How does it compare to the Hot Tubes Distortion/ Sustainer? Which one would be better to drive the front end of my amp? Cool

I am using the Small Clone Chorus and like it a lot. It really is lush.

i use an EH memory man.. it's kind of noisy(the repeats from the pedal sound like they break up a little, which i like in some instances, but not in others), but extremely warm sounding.. there are 2 outs, one for echo, and one for dry signal, but unless you have two amps, or are willing to use both inputs on one amp, two outs are useless, however- i usually use only the echo out line and blend the signal through there (you can blend the dry signal and wet signal with only using the echo out) and it works nicely, sometimes, i do use both outs on the pedal into both inputs on my amp and it works out... (i only do this for lower volume work)- i don't really care for the tremolo/chorus that it has on it, but all in all.. the memory man is a great sounding pedal, just kind of noisy. very lush, for me, it's up near the roland space echo as far as tone goes (and cheaper and more portable), although nothing really touches the space echo.

i havent tried any other EH effects, are those noisy too or is this a delay thing?

I have the smallstone I like and it sounds great in the effects loop better than the MXR phase 90. The Big Muff is something you love or hate. I don't like.
