I just bought a Nuance Razorback and think it is great for 70's distortion tones. Great bass response, cuts nicely, very good sustain. I prefer it to my modded rat II.
Adam, you're right; thanks for pointing it out. The 'Hog is a Barber. It's got that darkhorse/underdog talent about it like the Chunk Wagon, though, which is why I always think of it as a Nuance box.

If anyone has the Razorback for sale or TRADE, email me, I would love to try it out! They seemed pretty cool, but when I went to buy one, Musictoyz didn't have em anymore!

if you have one and don't want to let it go, we can even trade pedals for a month or something, I really want to give it a shot!
Yes I have one, very cool. I don't know if it is quite ZZ Top-ish, but ut has nice gain and eq response. I think a Braber DD SS set to vintage Marshll setting may be more La Grange.
