I've been using an original Visual Sounds Route 66 OD/comp pedal for years now and like it very much.

Has anyone gone from the old version to the newer version, or compared them side by side? Just wondering if it's worth buying the new one and selling the old one.

I already know that one new feature is one I'm not interested in, the ability to add more 'squash' to the compression side. I'm quite happy with the comp side of the pedal, wouldn't want to change it.

Is the newer OD side substantially different/better(/worse)?

thanks

Seems like I read a post awhile back that said the difference is barely noticable.

If your a fan of the Rt.66 you'll like the new version. Perhaps even more than the original.
