I bought a ZVex FF from a local store...luckily they had a 30 day return policy. As a noise maker this pedal is fair and as a fuzz face it is no better. So for the money I couldn't see keeping it. The PE Experience is better for my uses, and if I want a noise maker that I can actually use in a song, I would pull out my Lovepedal Jacko. This one escapes me, maybe the paint job is the attraction!Smile

Gainster rocks.

I also purchased one about a week ago. At first, I had a hard time getting the sound I wanted out of it. After a few days of tweaking, I really got into the vibe of this pedal. It's not the traditional fuzz I was thinking initially, but there are very cool modern tones available. I also ended up buying a Fulltone '69 to get a more traditional fuzz. I love them both.
