Voodoo Vibe
Plenty of Tweeks here. Actually this pedal is a nightmare. This is the same trouble the Teese RMC3 has and that is there is way too much to mess with. Set it up and you will need to remember 7 knob setting..great just what I needed. this might be good in a studio but for live I would get something else.

Voodoo Axe
Pretty much a toy in my opinion. Not for what I play now or what I played when I was 15. Not a good piece

I purchased a Voodoo Vibe about a month ago and have had a good chance now to use it. I've got it on my pedalboard. The fact that it has 7 knobs has not been a detriment. I've been using it for tremolo on tunes as well as chorus on various tunes. So far, I like it alot. I mainly have to tweak (on-the-fly) the 'bias', 'symmetry' and 'speed' knobs a little. The 'output' and 'intensity' seem to stay the same throughout the range of sounds I like. The 'function' and 'range' knobs have detent-settings for each type of effect, therefore they're easy to click into place. The fact that the tone-enhancing parameters are VERY tweakable is a plus. If I want to spend a couple of extra seconds adjusting, I can get just the sound I like without having to settle for a 'canned' sound. [Cool]

Crossroads Signal Director
I picked up a Roger Mayer Crossroads a few months ago when I was in need of a box that I could connect to more than one amplifier without getting the dreaded ground 'hum'. This fills the bill well. It's dead-silent, and the A output is balanced to prevent electrical shocks. So far, I've mainly been using it on my pedalboard with A connected to my amplifier and B connected to a tuner. This is very effective for quick on-stage tuning without sound. I've used it with 2 amps back and forth with great success also. There's a switch to use it with both A+B which allows me to use 2 amps at once if needed. I had previously tried a cheap a/b/y box and had nothing but trouble with it. The RM Crossroads solved all of my interconnect problems. Highly recommended. [Cool]

Roger Mayer Octavia
I was the proud owner of an original Tycobrahe Octavia from the mid-'70's. I bought it new and kept it for years. I finally sold it a few years ago and bought 3 new Octavias: Roger Mayer, Fulltone and Voodoo Lab. My favorite all of these is the Roger Mayer. It's spaceship case is just as cool as its sound. This is really the original Octavia, since Roger did design the first ones. It is a very solid unit. The Tycobrahe was fragile in comparison. The RM Octavia also sounds better to my ears. [Cool]

This is the Roger Mayer BASS pedal, I guess is for bass guitar- I havent tried it that way yet....... but it very interesting for guitar,,,,,,, its kind of a Two Trick Pony--- on the lower settings its a fattener- it does a very real simulation of turning single coils into Humbuckers, I guess more of an EQ trick,,,,, and then if you crank the gain it turns into Hendrixville fuzz ( not suprising from RM) but both uses really sound like that and as advertized,,, kind of strange bedfellows in one pedal,,, but it works great for me as I like the Fattening mostly and I rarly use fuzz, so I can just roll that sucker up and Jimi Time!!!... and it has an active splitter with two out puts also use ful to split to two separate chains to two amps,,,,,,,,,,,anyway a nice pedal and a bit of a suprise.......someone suggested you can clip the output diodes to really open up the sound,,, havent tried that.........DonneR

The RM Axis Fuzz is excellent. It was supposedly developed for Jime Hendrix for use on the Axis Bold As Love album and is also featured on the Band Of Gypsies album. It's silicon transistored so it has a lot of presence and gain but is also smooth sounding with lots of sustain.

Roger Mayer Classic Fuzz. Still one of the best fuzz's I've heard. I bought mine in the early eighties when Guitar Galaxy in NYC was distributing them. Great sound, good bass response. Cleans up nice when you roll off the volume. I'm suprised the original Germ trannies still work. They've lost some punch, but are still playable. Of course, the rocket enclosure is the best! True-bypass also.
