People on Harmony Central rave about this pedal, but I rarely see it discussed on musictoyz. Is it a true bypass pedal? How does it sound?

(If I got one, I'd be running it in combo with a Barber LTD).

2 Kings 2:23-24 NKJV:
And as he was going up the road, some youths came from the city and mocked him, and said to him, “Go up, you baldhead! Go up, you baldhead!” So he turned around and looked at them, and pronounced a curse on them in the name of the LORD. And two female bears came out of the woods and mauled forty-two of the youths."

I've got one. Sent it in for the modification that they do (free). I can't seem to get a warm sustain from it. I like the TS9 or the SD9 pedals much better. The other GTR player in my band loves it for crunch however

I wonder what this knob does?

I've got a Drivetrain II. I ordered the newer model w/the mod and sent it back. I think the unmodded II just sounds better. It sounds good w/a Reverend Hellhound. Like Buttburst said, great crunch!
You may want to look into the Maxon ROD 881. It has a switchable OD/Distortion, a noisegate and a
stomp boost. And you can adjust the Mids. Plus it comes w/a REAL Electro Harmonics Russian 12ax7eh in it. No problem with sustain. IMHO it just sounds REAL sweet! Wink

Despite all the praise on the 'net (and much knob twiddling on my part), I was rather unimpressed with DT2. It just never sounded right with various Fender and Marshall type amps.
