TONEfest '08

Dear Guitar-Playing Friend,

Our 8th Annual TONEfest event is right around the corner. I've updated our site at TheOriginalTONEfest.com, with the pertinent information. There are a few items on the site that are left over from last year's event, and we should have them updated soon. Our "Friends" format worked great last year so I've decided to continue the program again this year. TONEfest '08 will welcome displays from players and collectors as well as builders, and involve the Amp Test-Drives and Demos that comprise TONEfest events in previous years.

Everyone who plans to attend should begin by reading the "Start Here" page on the TF site. All attendees will need to Register, either upon arrival or Register in advance Online. Pre-registration makes check-in faster and easier.

If you are bringing gear please pre-Register. If you are thinking of bringing more than a few amps, please check with me in advance so that so we can be prepared with space. This is particularly important if you are a custom amp builder or represent a store (Web or retail), as space is limited.

Our "TF Friends" format means that Registration for both attendees and builders/exhibitors will be handled on a DONATION basis. That means there is no set entrance fee. But it's our hope that everyone will understand that time, labor and money is involved in hosting TONEfest events, which we hope will be covered by your donations. And if you have given a donation online in advance, with your pre-Registration, we will have that record along with your registration, upon your arrival.

Many of our favorite TF "Friends" will be back again this year, so plan to attend, play some great gear, and enjoy the camaraderie w/ other players.
