'63 Fender Showman Head and 1x15 cab. This is a very rare model, only know of one or two others. It is factory equipped w/ 7355 power tubes and has a hybrid circuit somewhere between a 6G14 and an AA763. Was a basket case when I got it. It's been recapped w/ Sprague Atoms and Orange Drops and is running in tip top shape now. Correct non-original logo and grillcloth on the head. Also converted it to a grounded 3-prong plug. The tolex shows wear (scuff and dings), but no real damage. It does not have the piggy-back hardware.

Sounds kinda like a BF Deluxe from hell. Not terribly loud, gives up the goods w/o killing innocent bystanders. It comes w/ a fresh set of NOS power tubes. I've never had any trouble hunting down tubes for it. They usually run around $75 a quad. It's also a simple conversion to 6L6, if you're worried about tube availability. Simply involves swapping wires around on the tube sockets. I will say it sounds better to me w/ the 7355's. They're sweeter and creamier, kinda like a loud 6V6.

The cab is a 1x15" w/ the tone ring. The speaker is a JBL D140F.

The head has definitely been recovered at some point. It may have been blonde originally, but the recover was done a LONG time ago. I've seen 1 blonde identical to this and 1 blackface identical to this. Both went for around $1300 for the head alone. Also know of 1 other original BF identical to this one. So it could have been either way. Non-original screws hold on the both the head and speaker cab back panels.

EDIT: Haha, some dude had a blonde one just like this on ebay for $10K, for the head only. Look in the completed listings. I wonder WTF are some people thinking?
