I ordered a Fuchs 30 Watt Overdrive Supreme 1x12 which will be here tomorrow. I was reading some of the posts about an SLX version. What is SLX and how would you know if a particular Fuchs has SLX? If someone could enlighten me, I would appreciate it very much. While I'm on the subject of Fuchs, anyone able to compare a 1x12 combo to say a head going through a 1x12 cabinet. Thanks!
The amp was delivered today. It was sitting on my front porch when I came home from work. I checked the back, there was no SLX sticker, so I assume it is a non SLX model. Not sure about the footswitch. It does channel switching and reverb. It is kind of backwards though. When the reverb light is on, the reverb is off. The cabinet has a rattle in it, can't seem to pin it down. Anyway I haven't gotten a real chance to really try it out. I also have a Budda Superdrive II 2x12. I am curious how they will sound compared to each other.

I hear ya mongoose. I'm saving my pennies for a ODS50 w/ matching cab. I'm going to take a trip down to maken' music in Chicago when I have the dough. It will be a while, but, someday, she will be mine
