Just wondering if anyone has any experience using the Pedal Snake. Ease of use, reliability, durability?

Years ago I had Rapco make me a 8 channel snake. This included a stereo 1/4" to plug into my amp channel switcher. To really keep things neat you need a patch bay at the amp and the board. This way you don't have one plug on the right, and one 2 feet away for the end of your chain. Their diagrams look all nice, but think about it, now you've got BOSS adapters running up the side of your amp to the pigtails and cables stretching from the FX loop to the front of the amp for the other cables.

The way I did it was I was all rack. I bought 1/4" couplers at RS and screwed them to a piece of 2x3. I then made custom length cables to go from each place in the rack, like the input, the send and the return and the channel switch. Do the same at the pedalboard side and voila!
