i'm looking for an a/b switch pedal tu run 2 amps, 1 clean the other dirty.
any sugestions?

I'm looking for a good AB box myself,but haven't gotten a really good one yet. I know Roger Mayer makes one called the Crossroads & I think there's one called the Framptone,which looks expensive,which might also mean good but I'm not positive. It seems that if you plan to play one or the other,your choices are much easier to make than if you plan to play both at the same time.

Whirlwind A/B Selector...not cheep, but not as expensive as the Framptone. Some report ground lift problems when using to switch between 2 amps, but I did not have any. The best feature to me is the quiet switching.

You could always build one if your any good at that. They are so easy to make it hurts.
There is no curcuit board on your basic line selector. Some have little add on's like tone and volume and uneeded s**t like that i mean hey, thats what amps are for tone and volume. I built one using a light switch box, 3 jacks, a few wires, and an on off switch. I'm no good at building anything as simple as a birdhouse for f**k sakes but this i built. It's a fun hobby to build your own equiptment.
You can costomize all your stuff like i'm building my own tube amp soon. That will be sweet. I like solid state too. But i want to own both. Anyway i hope ,my ramblings help you in some way.

Look fro the A/B/Y box schematics the best hum free ABY you can build...

If you need a more basic A/B box for switching between tuner and signal line... the DOD A/B box would do... you could also build this yourself quite easely... tho you could probably find one used for almost what parts would cost you...

So teh best A/B box... the one you will build yourself
