first off, Teddy, if you feel the need to pull this, pull it. I know tubes aint really your bag, but you do sell em, so this is up to your descretion.

Now, I all up Lord Valve and chat with him a bit. Man what a cool guy. He steers me way off where I thought I wanted to go with tubes, and ended up saving me a ton of cash by recomending some chinese tubes that he's had alot of good luck with, tone wise and quality wise. What really iced the cake tho was when he told me "if you don't liek the tubes, send em back, if you don't like the fact their in a fucking white box, send em back, I don't care. If you got a reason, send em back, I'll take em."

Anyway, just thought I'd share.

Incase you want to know, I bought new tubes for my 73 bassman 100. he suggested NOS phillips 12at7 for the PI, chinese grey plates for the 12ax7s and shunguang 6l6gcs for the power. he saved me over $50 from the EH tubes I was going to get.

good to know, I will be stocking up on spare tubes in the near future.

Lord valve is great I've dealt with him several times. Mike at KCA NOS Tubes is also very good.
