wow, that was very cool...so great to hear someone talk about music in terms other that notes,instruments,tone and technique...experiencing the sound...thanx for sharing that!

thanks for posting Swain - I just was thinking about her the other day (not like that ) ... but rather how inspirational she is.

During the 80's she made a lot of TV apperances on chat shows and the like ...

I have strong memories of her appearing on morning Saturday morning TV when I was young. She taught groups of kids in the studio simple percussion parts - and then had them got of kids layering up the different rhythms with samba-esque effect.
