So I'm dumping quite a bit to fund my Rt. 66 head and, well, whichever cabinet I eventually decide on, and I'm doing alright...except for my Fireball! Man, I wish more people knew about these pedals...maybe I should've put "FullDrive" in the title or something. It is super low with only a day to go and nobody is watching it! I'm absolutely seriously and honestly NOT trying to solicit anybody here; get one new from Ted- the warranty could prove invaluable for an import "handmade boutique" from Germany. I just really thought this would go up to at least $150. Somebody else sold there's with a broken LED and lots'o scratches for $165. Argh!
The same day I listed it, I also listed an older well worn (FM, non-toggle) FullDrive II and it got snatched up right away at a "buy it now" of $150. I don't get it...

I've not noticed a lot of chatter re Banzai pedals. I keep an eye out for a sh Fireball because I know it's a good pedal and expect them to go cheaply. Probably what's happening but doesnt help you given your perspective.

btw I dont do EBay and dont buy from private sales in US (I'm English in England). I'm not going to snipe you

I had the Fireball 1 and found it a little too grainiy, gritty, almost harsh sounding (I wanted something smoother). I haven't tried the Fireball 2.

That being said I still remember the sound of the Cold Fusion into my super reverb with a strat! Man oh man oh man that was a killer tone!

The Fireball is a nice and versatile pedal, but there is a trace of grainyness (??) in it. Not something you would notice in a band situation, but when played on it's own... The thing can scream though.

Yeah, it all makes sense. I guess that's part of the letdown. And there's also the fact that, if I was totally happy with it myself, I wouldn't have listed it, eh? Lessons learned. Oh well.

I like my Fireball II much more than my Fulldrive, but neither do it for me. Maybe if I spent more time tweaking it... It does seem more smooth than I like. Good luck selling the pedal.
