Me-overdrives/boosts and delays. 5 of the former, 3 of the later 1 fuzz I rarely use and a vibe that's been short termed swapped for a tremolo I already know I wont use much.

Hmmmm.... I'd have to say any pedal that sounds good is fair game. I' currently building a pedal aresenal of assorted distortions/overdrives (Landgraff being the reigning champ) delays (I prefer analog but the Mad Professor Deep Blue Delay wins) and assorted others (trems, looking at chorus and reverb pedals). I'm also looking into the Voodoo Lab pedal switcher and Commander units. I can't wait to get everything hooked up and switch 'em all with a single footswitch.
The music business is a cruel and shallow money trench, a long plastic hallway where thieves and pimps run free, and good men die like dogs. There's also a negative side. - Hunter S. Thompson
I usually look for cheap stuff or "sleeper" pedals. Boss stuff found cheaply on ebay that I can mod myself. The only "boutique" stuff I own is a Peterson tuner and a Radial Hot British, although I don't know if they qualify exactly.
My main weakness is that I have no money to spend as I have a one year old daughter!
I've actually bought pedals, decided I didn't need them and sold them on eBay, then regretted selling them and bought them again. I have a large soft spot in my head for great-sounding overdrives and boosts, and I'm learning to like delay. I already have way more ODs in particular than I actually need, so at this point I guess it's a collection. And you know how weird people can be about collecting stuff.

Stuff like the Green Russian Big Muff for 80 bones on Craiglist. The Vintage Big Box Rat Reissue for 50 on CL. I bought a Grey Ross compressor, hardly a sleeper, but for 100. Analogman clone chorus for 120. A '67 Vox Clyde McCoy Wah, a cheapo Peavey practice amp I ended up selling for 30 and a Harmony Stratotone Guitar (don't laugh it may be crappy but I got 200 from a very happy buyer for the Stratotone alone) for $150. My '69 Vox Italian Crybaby set me back all of 60 bucks-bear in mind I had to spend good money on a fabulous restoration job by George Blekas on both, but still I scored bit time. I guess you could say my weakness is scouring fleamarkets and Craigslist for musical instruments and pedals.

Zoom Power Drive: Good clean boost, Nice crunchy overdrive, got it for $30 on ebay. These are not made anymore, but can usually be found pretty cheap.
Danelectro French Toast: Copy of a Foxx Tone Machine. The current owner of Danelectro apparently invented the Tone Machine circuit. I had a Foxx Fuzz-wah which has the Tone Machine circuit in it and the Danelectro pedal sounded exactly like it. Don't give me the Vintage Fuzz Mojo crap, I tested it multiple times and it is a soundalike. Foxx Fuzz-Wah=$350. Danelectro French Toast=$35.
Boss Bass Overdrive: Can be had cheaply on ebay. Good high gain pedal for hard rock stuff and it has a blend control kind of like a Sparkle Drive that blends in the overdrive sound with the clean sound. This pedal will sound much better for guitar and bass if it is modded and the larger electrolytic and poly caps are changed to metal film caps. It tames the brightness quite a bit and makes the pedal much more usable. This pedal can also be used as a clean boost with a 2-band EQ when you turn the blend all the way down.
Boss Blues Driver: The singer in the band that I play in gave this to me. I know that Keeley mods these so I took a crack at it. Tamed the treble response since I play Teles and added a citcuit bend that I got from Brian from Indyguitarist. The normal low gain sounds I am really diggin for Robben Ford, Scofield kind of stuff. The circuit bend turns this thing into a raging Fuzz with a lower octave hint on the lower strings!
Here are some other good deals I've gotten over the years:
When I was younger I picked up a Thomas Organ Crybaby with the "stack of dimes" inductor for $20. Still got it! Still sounds better than most wahs I've tried.
Gretsch 1977 TK-300 and Gretsch 1960 Single Anniversary for $200 and $350 respectively.
Gibson Goldtone 15 watt amp for $500. Vintage Supro lapsteel for $200.
Takamine Hirade classical guitar a friend found at the local thrift store for $350.
I have lots of gear, but I've never spent more than about $700 on anything except my Gibson Advanced Jumbo acoustic. It cost me $1450 and was worth every penny.
It's sorta funny really. I can let dirt pedals stack up all over the place, but modulation pedals i won't buy unless i get rid of one first. I don't like any of the mod pedals on my board right now, and after i do some selling, i'm thinking about a couple HBE pedals, and whatever tremelo looks cool. Delays i always like before i buy, sorta like a guitar, so i never sell 'em off. Dirt pedals tho, it's just out of control. A bunch of low gainers, a couple vaguely Ts style, a couple "marshall in a box", a few fuzz pedals, an overdriver style. I don't see an end in sight, and i've just started tearing the board apart because i have no idea which 5 dirt pedals to keep on there. 5!!
cheers

I'm a sucker for buying fuzz although I'm somewhat new to MKII clones.
I really want a Fulltone TTE. I have a Maxon AD900 but I'm gas'ing over the TTE for sure. The sad thing is that I not even that much of a delay guy. I just love the way it sounds in the signal path and want to use it to split to 2 amps and run a little delay to open up the sound a bit.
I never have to worry about buying anything back, because I never sell anything!

Well, like many here - and probably 'because' of here - I'm an OD/dist/fuzz junkie. But that's old news ... I realize to my semi-embarrassment, I say semi because I am from L.A., CHORUS. I have like 6 chorus pedals. And they all sound different to me. Though I will readily admit that they're really not that different .
Back on the distortion tip ... I'll be taking delivery of a MO'D in a couple of days. $420.00 ... I know, insane. But I had to have one.
My weekness is that I bought a brand new house, moved in and need to buy a lot of stuff, get some dirt and grow grass and build a terrace. That´s pure weekness. Don´t have time of money to spend on gear for a while..
Otherwise a good OD is hard to resist. I got Tim, Timmy, Zendrive and a XTS Precision Overdrive within the last two months but haven´t had time to really try them out that deep yet.

Drive pedals that are supposed to sound like 5E3 tweeds cranked. Mainly because I love the sound of a cranked tweed deluxe, but real 5E3s are kind of one trick ponys. And clean isnt there strong point.
