I just got my 'new' Mentaone Fish Factory from MusicToyz.com... a very nice sounding pedal.

A few things though:

-The in and output jacks are now on the back of the pedal, not the sides as with the original.

-The paint job is different

-The blue and red sides have switched sides

-Instead of 1 switch for bypass, and 1 switch for switching channels, there are 2 switches that simply turn either side on or off. They can both be on at the same time, but it wasn't that impressive or useful.

-The Presence and Cut switches have been removed. They have NOT been replaced by any knobs or anything- the knobs are the same as on the original Fish Factory.

Overall, it was a disappointment, as the site advertised it to HAVE those P & C switches, the bypass switch / channel switch combo, and a nicer paint job. Tonally it's a very good sounding overdrive pedal, but I wish I had the previous (and advertised) Presence and Cut switches to make it work better with my equipment which can change regularly. Also, I really didn't like the switch setup on my Jekyll & Hyde... and was looking forward to the Fish Factory's switching system... now it's just the same as my J&H's.

Still deciding whether to keep it or not... anyone have an original?
