anyone have any comments about this EH rarity? Why don't they reissue this one, like they did the PolyChorus? the sounds on Tonefrenzy seem pretty cool....

I thought all those poly's were the same effect. In an issue of Guitar Shop they were interviewing Mike Mathews about what was coming out - he talked about the newest reissue the Micro Synth....So it gives you an idea of how long the article was.
Nice sidetrack - however one question was about the poly chorus, flange, phase and what the story was...Mike reply was they called it what was not at the time - but it was the same pedal....
Anyway - you could probably get a definitive answer from the EH Man. His discussion group is pretty cool for EH.

i think the echoflanger, polyflanger and polychorus we're all the same but i think the polyphase was a beast of it's own..dunno for sure though?

where is the EH man discussion group?
Also, the POLYPHASE is definitely it's own beast, I highly recommend checking it out on tonefrenzy. It does some serious phase/chorus/flanger type stuff along the lines of lovetone pedals..

EH used to make an A/A+B switch called the Switchblade. I asked them if they had any plans to reissue it & they said no. I see that Snarling Dogs has released basically that pedal, called the Crossroads or something like that.
