i was very impressed with this pedal but the price tag is to high! play it with a deluxe fender strat with a compressor to the 808 in to a hot rod deluxe (clean channel) very very smooth overdrive and warm sounding un like the standard ts 9. its as good as my maxom od9 which is about 30 dollars cheaper. no mods needed here in my opinion. low gain or cranked .its got that good ole blues tone. it really sounded like part of the amp. or what i've heard here . very amp like. on a scale of 1 to 10 i give it about a 7 because i beleve its over priced. but its got some good tone going on for sure!
...I thought it was a good one too...Then I put it aside of my really early original TS-808 with the TI Chip & heard a BIG difference!...The reissue is Kool though!...

Same here Digdug. It was weird because the pedal really did sound good until you AB'ed it to the real deal. I think it came down to the original sounding more natural than the reissue. Perhaps it needs to be played alot to break in the parts kinda like a new amp or a re-capped old amp.
Glad you are digging it bluesman. Nothing like a TS with a Fender amp!
