I'm kinda in the market for a vibe AND a trem so I was thinking if the MGMV didn't work out as a vibe(because most of what I read about it leads me to believe I might prefer something else in the vibe position), I could maybe use it as a trem?

I haven't tried the MGMV, but how about the Auralux King Trem - a tremolo with a univibe "vibe."

Its funny, its the best vibe INTO distortion Ive heard, for some reason when clean it sounds more like a 3D trem with some extra woogie --- but when you run it into a distortion it nails trower/hendrix.... I guess its the special EQ shifting or something....and depending on the 'cup size' switch mod , it can be more or less tremish..... (anyway you'll get a chance to find out for yourself )

I can't put my finger on how much of the sound is "trem" and how much "vibrato", but I'm still livin' the MGMV for giving my base sound (edge of crunch) a nice bit of movement and 3D-ness and also to make single note leads wail a bit.

My fave setting at the moment is velocity around 3:30 and depth around 10:00.
