What do you guys think of these guitars? I have been thinking picking one up on a whim. Does anybody know when this site is gona have the updated 08 models for sale?
I think this bad boy beats out any other LP clone. One LP owner I know liked it better than his LP! It is lighter and has the clearest neck pickup I have ever heard in a HB guitar. I stuck with the older model because, Teddy had it, and it is $100 cheaper!
Im trying to decide on what to get next guitar wise and its between a Fender RI 72 tele custom and a buckshot and im not sure which would be better. I dont have an opportunity to play a reverend so im goin by word of mouth. Which one would be a better guitar in terms of wood, reliability and quality control
So, what's the diff between the new ones and the old ones? Tuner upgrade, black headstock and $100? I'll take one of the old ones, I think. Had my eye on a Club King w/ P-90s for awhile now. Anybody played the bolt-necks?

Here is a thread about a guy buying a Buckshot blind.
I can't say that a Rev guitar is de facto better than a Fender, esp when I am not a tele guy. But I do think their Quality control is more consistant. After all, it is one guy.
I had a Club King HB. Wonderful fit, finish, quality, and tone. Particularly for the price.
If you are sensitive to neck size, they have the smallest neck I've laid hands on. Very uncomfortable with my big paws and caused significant wrist strain. Other than that, it was great.

I have had a Charger 290 and a Volcano. Both bought direct from Reverend. Awesome players right out of the box. The Reverends at the deal in Albuquerque have not played as well-set ups not as good? But they were still really good. As a generalization, I would say that Korean Reverends are a good bit better than American Fenders in terms of quality and playability for 70% of the price. I have never heard anyone say that Reverend sucks or experienced a sucky Reverend, whereas it is not hard to pull an American Fender off the wall that sucks.
Fwiw, sold the Volcano because I don't like the Gibson scale. Sold the Charger, somewhat regretfully, to buy a Warmoth strat that was a little better for my needs.
