First off I want to thank you all for the great info. I was saving up for another guitar and somehow rationalized buying some of these great sounding pedals instead. I am really excited to get my RMC1 Wah and the Hotcake this week. This would add to my FD2, Maxon OD808, Ultimate Octive, Boss Loop station and the line 6 DDl pedal. Given the amount I was intending to spend on the guitar, I still have $350 or so I could invest. Any good suggestions? This is guilt free money (ps - I didnt think I was a pedal nut until I wrote down the list).

Looks like you've got overdrive and distortion covered, you may want to check out a good fuzz or compression pedal. I'd probably pick up a compressor, because it can come in handy in conjunction with your other effects.

A Sweetsound Ultravibe would fit nicely into your setup and still leave you some money, unless you add speed pedal as well which would be even cooler.

Also maybe a chorus (CE-2 or Arion) or a phasor.

Invest in the stock market . . . just kidding Big Grin With that kind of money, you can get something really crazy, like the EH Microsynth or the new Line 6 Filter Modeler. I normally wouldn't recommend a Line 6 product, but this one sounds monsterous

the FD2 has compression and the UOctave is a great fuzz by itself.....betweent he delay and the looper, it looks you enjoy noisemaking as well, Id add a line 6 Modulation modeller- it has stereo in and outs and lots of great swirlies for those loops........and then look at your guitar or amp... pickup/speaker upgrade ( Kinmans to cut the noise out of those loopages)...

I was going to buy a whole slew of stuff in the next two weeks but I'm going to donate to the Red cross. I have you have enough cash but the thread title "What to do with an extra $350?". Red Cross is the first thing that jumped into my mind. Please don't take this the wrong way.

I'd either buy that, or a big bag of marijuana.

I kept the inputs in mind in the back of my mind for last week or so and then took everyone's advise. I donated $200 plus a company match of $200 to the Red Cross plus I upgraded the RMC 1 to the Picture Wah. So, thanks to all.

buy the weed, it will make your existing pedals sound that much better!

you could also make a car payment or get a tune up, better gas mileage and all that junk.

analogman.com makes a killer compressor from what i hear.

yeah...
