I just like the way it sounds with this gauge (12's) If I keep in practice they feel ok but if I get busy and don't play for a couple of days they get really hard to play on. That's the biggest drawback for Me with heavey strings. Gives Me an incentive to practice!

I like the tone alot better.. It sounds fuller to me.. Some may not notice.. You have to agree heavier strings are LOUDER.. It's one of the reasons Diaz modded srv's amps inputs..
