I've always wanted one, and I finally bought one. A 2008 Custom Classic Telecaster. This is one sweet guitar!

Sweet. Now I'm missing my Tele, thanks. Nanook has it now. He's shooting to become the next big Scandinavian Country and Western star. Have you ever heard "The Fighting Side of Me" in Swedish?

HAHA. That just might be what Country Music needs right now.

Yes, Nanook showed me some pics of your Deluxe, and it is a looker. I almost went with a Deluxe myself, but then this tele came along. I bought her used at a very very good price. I couldn't say no, and she is cherry.

Congrats, Dildor! I just got my first Tele about a year ago (Dakota Red GE Smith model) and I haven't looked back. Telecasters are the most ridiculously versatile guitars on the planet. I honestly wonder why I waited so long to get on board. Anyway, happy twangin'!

Victor.

The music business is a cruel and shallow money trench, a long plastic hallway where thieves and pimps run free, and good men die like dogs. There's also a negative side.

I really wanted to buy a G.E. Smith Model, because I keep hearing they are the bees knees. Although, I couldn't afford one, but I think I made out OK.

This model has a pretty big C profile neck, in fact I would compare it to a '59 Les Paul. 9.5 radius with medium jumbo frets makes it pretty easy to play and bend. If you notice it has a reverse control plate, which I'm getting use to. However, it is pretty easy to obtain those Buchanan volume swells. It has a four way switch too. Last position, is both pickups in parallel? I think that is what it is. Anyways, it is very FAT sounding with a hotter output and a ton of punch. Very nice. Overall, I'm very pleased with the purchase, and it is a great modern tele yet still having that vintage vibe.

Then don't forget to cover the Scandinavian C&W classic "All my Ex's live in Finland, that's why they're calling me a Swede"

What kinda "snow" are you talking about? He lives here in MN now so he's familiar with the kind that falls from the sky.

Aha, that might be the traditional way of snowing we´re talking about. But sometimes it feels like it comes from hell rather from
the sky.

In Gothenburg they hardly get snow and when the get it it´s wet, mushy and really terrible. Up here in the north the snow is really
better. But the last years we had warmer winters and the snow isn´t
what it use to be.
