Has anyone tried this pedal? I finally found a store here in the city that has one, but they want 125 for it.

Hmmm....

Yeah I got one off ebay a week ago and paid about the same as you...one went for about 70 bucks a week later...I wanted to hear it with the band before posting about it which I did tonight...

first off is eats batteries about 30-45 minutes on a new alkaline...using an adaptor (Boss or daisy chaining it off my TU2 seemed to give the effect more depth)...

this is the funny thing at first I thought there was some tone suckage when bypassed but the more I kept playing around the more I couldn't really tell which is a good thing...

it has a contrast and Reverb level knob...the contrast knob didn't excite me as it induced some unwelcome shrillness leaving it at 0 sounded best...it has a both/Reverb switch for contrast/reverb and a long short delay with another switch for 3 different long programs...

how does it sound...for me I just wanted a reverb for some thickening and this pedal suits me just fine...the way I set it up it seems like my clean guitar signal sits on top with the effect in the background rather than engulfing the entire guitar singal like a Fender tank...just what the doctor ordered...increasing the reverb level gave me more depth and decay...I didn't really care for the short/room program but really like the Long/#1(live house) with the effect level at around 9-11 oclock as I am doing a lot of R&B rhythm playing and don't want long tails...I am playing a 52 RI tele...a bright guitar and this pedal thickened up my tone and help me sit in mix like never before...

another really nice thing about this pedal is that is doesn't mush out when you stick an over drive in front of it (DRD) and it gave my distored and clean solos a hugeness about them...very nice....

So far I really like it...it sounds good...is small...build quality is a little on the flimsy side but it should hold up...but then again I didn't compare it to any of the other pedals out there...I've had a Fender tank and that was all but unusable for me as even at low settings it engulfed and altered my guitar signal...this pedal has proved to be practical...useful and has satisfied my reverb needs for now and I will keep it until my curiosity gets the best of me....
