I'm looking to use a phaser with it's rate on "0" to augment/thicken a Vibe.

Which one ... NYC or Rusk Small Stone, or Clone ... or?

Actually, I do this, but sort of in the opposite direction. I use my vibe (DejaVibe2), set at its slowest oscillation, to clear up and augment my phaser tone (usually set somewhere between 9 o'clock and 10:30). I'm using the Maxon Phasetone.

Classic phasers include the Small Stone, MXR Phase 90, and the Mutron Bi-phase.

The Maxon works for me (small, sounds great), but I wish it had an output volume (there is a very slight volume loss when engaged) and a depth control. I'd like to be able to get a little bit thicker sound. Come to think of it, those two reasons are exactly why I supplement it with my Univibe. They sound good together.

Maybe I should have just gotten the MXR Phase 100. The Maxon PH350 Rotary Phaser looks like it would be incredible.
