You can get a bypass strip with a master on/off here at Toyz ... works nicely, I have one.

Yeah man - That's basiccally my rig. A huge multifx with interchangeable parts. Don't like the OD? Change it out! I also use the bypass strips sold here, they're made by pedalracks - www.pedalboards.com - note the "s" . I love this method. The drawback is there can be and usally is some tap dancing, which the multifx have a 1 stomp setup. HOWEVER, no "edit" buttons and scrolling params - they're all there for the tweaking. Use of an Axess switcher or the Ground Control/GCX or the PEdalrig or Combinator would work too. Those are $$, big and if your pedals are stowed in a rack, then you can't edit the params that easily.

How many channels are you looking for? Another nice thing about the TB strips is that you aren't stepping on your peds so they don't get any wear and tear and all of the switches are right up front on your pedalboard. Here is a pic of my board & TB strip that I made myself. I didn't build a Master off on mine though.
