I'm going absolutely insane buying new 9-volts for all my old analog pedals that don't hook up to ac adaptors. Does anyone know if rechargable batteries have any effect on a pedals tone. I've heard guys that say they won't use duracells because the voltage makes their pedals sound shitty.

Rack Systems in LA - $30 per pedal plus shipping will install DC jacks into your pedals. I had it done to my ZVEX SHO and V847. Very fast turnaround. Check ZVEX site under mods and repairs for their #. How much will you pay for rechargeables? Prolly close to this much. Plus the tone thing is subjetive. I ordered a ADL Juice box with VBAT that simulates the voltage 'sag' of a dying battery, which is what they're talking about.

Good Luck!
John
