I am supposed to let Clif, who is not registered know my address to receive the tour box.

It's:
Jack Kilpatrick
1830 Las Tunas
Las Cruces, NM 88011

I'm going to be in and out of town, so I wanted to get it out there.

Thanks!

It looks like this box is going strong. I don't want to hold it up, so I'm going to pass on my spot. Life is really busy for me right now between work and music and I don't think I can meet my tourbox responisibilies promptly.

I wish I could do it, but I'll just end up holding it longer than I need to or not doing a thorough review. Thanks for the oppurtunity, maybe I'll catch this one the next time around!

Nice catch!
I was watching the auction...

I have two brown rabbits.
I am not an expert on the Rat style pedal, but It's less noiser than the original. and May be a little mellower than the Rat that I had before.(?)
I like it.
I hear some people complain about the finish.. But I really like the style of art work.

I also have Maharishi... it's really an odd pedal(for me), but I really like messing with it. Timber control is really fun to play with..

I sent one of my brown rabit back to Justin for custom Mod. adding clipping switch...
I don't know exactly what it suppose to sound like... but I am looking forward for it...
it's suppose to be getting new encloseure with art work too

come to think of it..., that was over a month ago.... I hope he hasn't foggoten about me... .

I been thinking about sending the other brown rabbit to Justin for Q knobs...
it's just I don't know what the Q kbobs are...
can anyone here explain more about the Q knob??

Hey JP

Q usually refers to the width of an EQ curve on a parametric EQ. I'm not sure if that's what is referred to here for the BR.

The width of the curve is like a bell curve, which is wide and more general, or a notch, which is pinpoint and more specific.

I'm looking for more clips. Does anyone have the time and equipment to do a few? I wish I'd have signed up now.

Alright here we go:
Am. Std Tele into Hot Rod Dlx: Alot was said in previous reviews that doesn't need to be repeated....but here are my impressions....

First, the Maharishi.....I'll have to be honest and say I didn't "get" this one either...I've never really played with an octavia or whatever so I don't know...I could hear a ring modulator sound so it but oh well....must not be my jive...

The '9': Simple control...one knob Smile. I used it just to boost my solos. Retains the tone, just louder. Loved how small it is....When I go clean boost shopping....this will be the first.

The Digilog:
Great sounding delay....loved the oscillation feature....things got pretty trippy and wacked out and at one moment I thought I was gonna blow up my amp!!!! Careful with this one. I'll restate what I stated in my retrosonic analog delay review in that, if it doesn't have tap tempo, I'm not gonna use it unless for a one off type of thing but then I don't want to give it the pedalboard space Cool.

The Brown Rabbit:
This was my fave of the bunch. I used to have a reissue Rat that I used and it was close to the sound I was going for but THIS ONE is great. I mostly used the gain at higher settings acting more as a distortion.Comparisons on the toggle...
Left: Rat, fuzzy, compressed least output.
Right: less fuzzy, little less compression, more output.
Middle: More overdrive like, least amount of compression, tons of Output....this was my favorite setting......
I'm buying this pedal for sure....geez so many pedals and so little money Frown Big Grin

Not too technical descriptions but just my observations in using them in my setup....Thanks again for allowing me to be in this tourbox.

It's moving on....

I just received the Freakshow tourbox. I haven't had a chance to plug anything in yet, but the pedals are all in great shape thanks to the excellent packing. The cool antique suitcase is not in such great shape; the bottom has fallen off. There is no problem with it protecting the pedals because it is so well padded. I'm thinking I probably leave it as-is, but if Justin wants, I could duct tape the bottom back on. It's not really necessary, because the entire box is covered in bubble wrap for transport.

These pedals all look very cool and I'll submit reviews after I get a chance to try them out.

I'll be shipping it on it;s way next Thursday. Should I ship to Clif or Porkchop? Either way, shoot me the address.

this is pat from the art department at freakshow-
if you'd like to duct tape the bottom back on,
that would be swell.. use green duct tape if you got any. if you dont feel you posess the mad duct taping skills, perhaps the next player will.

I hate to think of anyone receiving a less than perfect tourbox, especially after waiting so long.

p.s. - thank you all for the time youve spent with our pedals. y'all rock n'stuff.
word! -p

Pat, I know I have maroon duct tape, but I'll try to find some green. I'll secure the bottom before shipping. Thanks for the response.
