I picked up a used OCD that is the latest version and must say this pedal still rocks, almost forgot how big it sounds.

I dont think the upgrade is a drastic change but it does reduce the bass a bit but there is still plenty there, what I really like about it is the thickness of the tone especially on leads up at the higher register of the guitar.

Out of all the pedals I have or had this cleans up the best almost to the point that I could leave it on all the time! and this is with my Les Paul I'm also digging the LP mode it is very useable to me in the updated version even with my Deluxe Reverb the OCD sounds friggin great......... hey does LP mean it's the Les Paul mode Big Grin

anyway glad I got another solos sound the way I like again!

I will say one thing Troy the OCD and Les Paul sound great together, I put in a pair of WCR Goodwoods pickups and upgraded the electronics what a difference!

How's that LP working out for you John? What kind of electronics upgrade, RS Kit? Do you still have the PRS?

I love the Les Paul it fits me perfectly! Yeah I put in the RS premium upgrade kit so between that and the Goodwoods the guitar is very responsive!

Still have the McCarty but have not played it since the Les Paul arrived!

That's good news! Now I REALLY want to get that OCD mod, especially since I also play a Les Paul.
