Has anyone got one of these? Looks pretty sweet, but it bothers me that they leave out the number of effects on the pedal. Worth 170 bucks?

if it's the ax1000g you're talking about; sure it's worth the bucks - but only if you're a newbie. sucks tone etc... just a normal multi fx box. some cool sounds in it though. (NOT the factory presets though!)

If it's the AX100G, I got one. I like it.
Very well thought out. VERY easy to use. VERY Easy to program. Models a few amps, a few stomp boxes. First M-E that switched beween two distortions in a single patch. Can also switch effects in or out in a single patch. Has slow attack effect, feedback effect, in addition to the usual effects. I think the engineers paid attention to the little details, the things that used to bug me about the other M-Es I've owned in the past.

Thanks, I'm a newbie to the pedal world, but I've been playing for around 7 years. I changed my mind about the korg though, I decided to get a Zoom multi 707. Its hard to get equipment where I live. I have two axes at the moment. I just sold my gibson. I have an awesome Japanese made strat with a clamped bridge neck, and a so-so squire strat bullet edition. I'm hoping to get a better sound out of my old Peavey amp. Definately some noise reduction.
