My Parents are from Texas and I've been to SF several times. My advice about SF: Get a Taxi.

Don't know about Sweden, but Texas can get Hella Hot in the Summer. Freaking humid, and you can fry an egg on the sidewalk hot.

I get´s pretty warm during summers but not even close to what you get in Texas. 75-85 F is normal during the summer.

We have a winner!!! Where do you live?

Brandon, Manitoba, Canada. Not that far from the U.S. border, really. It gets cold up here but this has been ridiculous. It's been like this across the Canadian mid-west.

I was in Texas back in Aug '03. It was about 105 degrees F. A big thunder storm ransacked the place and blew over all in about 30 minutes time. It cleared and shot back up to 105. You could literally see steam coming off the road. It was miserable. Frown

Alright...I don't feel so cold now. Driving on the ocean and -33Celcius makes 4F sound downright balmy. Right now in the morning it's 17F...almost tanning weather!
