I'm going, and was wondering if anybody I know here is going...

I'd have gone if it were in Nashville again this year. From New Orleans, Tennessee makes a nice road trip. Indiana is far away enough to classify as a journey.

Had a great time in Nashville last year. I wish I'd been on the forum then; it would've been cool to meet some of the other forumites and builders.

Wow, I guess this isn't much of a Namm Crowd. Rob are you going as a vendor, or to look around?

I am still debating - I have a free pass as I am a member, but I am not quite ready to go...

Back in the winter, most of us in the Midwest here talked about meeting at Namm for a hoot. My summer has just gotten so damn busy, I won't be able to go to Indiana no way no how.

I'm endorsed by a couple of companies and I have to do the demo thing. Send me an email and we'll meet up

George Blekas and I were supposed to go but both couldn't make it happen, too much going on to commit. It sucks, I would've really liked to go to.

Had some great friends I would liked to have met in person that're gonna' be there.

If anyone gets a chance to go, there is some kind of semi-pro to pro "All-Star" jam and party that's gonna' happen... you should catch it if you can... let me know how it was.

I won't be in Indiana, but I'll be in LA for the January show.

Yeah that would have been a hoot - we are shorthanded here too and I cant get away....too bad thats a bout as close as it ever been, tho Nashville isnt tooo far either...

Who is Scotty? I heard about some guy walking around the show named Scotty. (Not sure if it's the same guy you are asking about.) I guess he claimed to be the "#2 Guy", but nobody I talked to at the show had ever heard of the guy.

Where is the January NAMM going to be? Louisiana? What part of Louisiana? I live in Little Rock, and may have to make the trip.
Even though they've been in Nashville, I've never been to one of those.

Damn! You got my hopes up! For a minute, I thought they'd changed the 30-year tradition of having Winter NAMM in Anaheim. Of course, they'd never do that. Summer NAMM moves around, but the January show is always in Los Angeles (which is what TD meant by LA--he forgot the periods).

If there are any NAMM movers and shakers reading this thread, though, New Orleans would be a great place to have a show. . .
