Quick update, my baby is home! Sorry no pics right now. Maggie-Mae Layla was due Wed, but didn't arrive until 5:54 AM Saturday. 7.14 lbs. My wife was a real trooper and had a hard time for close to three hours of hardcore pushing, finally they used that suction thingy and pulled her out! I was scared But, all is well Mom and baby are home now and doing just great. Thanks for all the love the past few months. I'll post up some pics soon enough.
I kept trying, even up to the filling out of the birth certificate, but it was a no-go for my fav name...Ynwgiette Meadowlark...Guess my wife was lucky she wasn't drugged up when those forms came around!
CONGRATS BROTHA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! BIG fun changes ahead. I never really understood the big deal about kids until it happened to me then it all becomes perfectly clear. Nothing better...period. Having a kid really makes getting up in the morning worthwhile. and OH you WILL be getting up in the morning like it or not. You will soon be taking it a little easier when partying and gigging as you have to get up early hangover or not.

Believe or not you'll get to a point where you'll actually enjoy changing diapers Anytime with my girl is worth it... even that 'shitty' time she babbles so much during diaper change it becomes fun
I kept wanting to ask but was just wishing for the best and keeping my fingers crossed. That is great news and you seem to have one hell of a wife there!!! Best to you, the wife, and the new one, and all good things always.

CONGRATS HOME-SLICE! Glad mom and baby Yngwieete Meadowlark are doing well (yes, I get FULL CREDIT for that name!) I would predict another 2 weeks at the most and your gear whoring will completely take over and you'll be back to your normal self!! Har har har! WB

Ha, thanks so mucho boyz! Good stuff. She does have super long fingers, we'll see! Here's my fav pic so far: My mom at 76 with her likely last grandchild. She's so happy! Baby was named after her, Margaret.
Isn't it Awesome?! My daughter is almost 3 months old now. Every day there is something new and exciting. She is so alert and receptive now. Watching my fingers play guitar is espeically amazing. Enjoy every second of it!!!
