I've got a Furman SPB-8 board that works great - it's sturdy, reliable, etc. I've always got too much stuff on it, and am always switching pedals in and out etc. Which is all fine, but recently I've found myself bringing just a few pedals (for example LTD or TIM, Blues Devil, RC Boost, Strobostomp and maybe NS2) I'm looking for a smaller, lighter board for that kind of setup, maybe one that can take a wah too. The options I've found so far are the NYC pedalboard Six shot or maybe the SKB PS 15 (looks a little cheesy, but is about the right size). Small and light is the key for this one. Anybody have one they're liking thse days?

Home Depot. Thin plywood, cut to size, a swatch of industrial carpet, industrial strength sticky-back velcro and screw on rubber feet. Power with a Voodoo Labs PP. Yer set!

I've got the smaller Core board, it' fairly light but my Clyde wah is too tall for the lid to shut ( the surface is angled ). Other than that it's fine for three or four pedals

RockOn pedalboards (http://www.rockonpedalboards.com) -- small, light, and cheap. I just got one for the same reason -- half-a-dozen boxes, a wah, and a pedal power. Seems pretty sturdy. No hard case, though.

i have the NYC pedalboard lunch box and six shot and i like it. on the six shot there is place for a wah. it's very solid build.

I know this isn't going to help you out, but I couldn't believe this when I saw it earlier today and wanted to pass it along.

Everyone has been blowing out the original standard size Pedaltrain lately - I guess in preparation for the new sizes they are getting ready to release Well, good ol' Musician's Friend is no exception - but they are selling them for $79.99! That's the 22" x 12 1/2" size board. I thought it might come with the canvas case, but it looks like it is the hard case as that's what is shown in the picture on MF's website and the description is the same one everyone else was using that was selling the hard case version.

I have been considering a Pedaltrain for the past couple of years now, but never got serious about it. But I decided to go ahead and get one at that price! I have been using a great board that Headshot built for me about a year and a half ago, but I never got a case for it so I've been moving it around several times each week with no case or protection. This will solve that little issue.

Damn, I just bought the jr for $99! I actually wanted something even a little smaller, and I've already got the furman, which is kind of in the blowout pedaltrain size category. Oh well, it's only money.

Yeah, but if size is the issue, you can't really worry about a few bucks. You have to go with what's going to work for you.

I thought the Junior was a good value at that price, but it really was a little smaller than I wanted to go. With the regular size, I can get the Oxygen, Tim BBOD, DRD and RC Booster on the front row and the Strobostomp, Retro-Sonic Chorus and Voodoo Lab pedal Power II on the back row.

Oh yeah TD, I didn't mean to whine (guess I just can't help myself). The jr is the closest I could find to what I was looking for, and I'll use the Furman when I bring the whole flotilla. When I said it's only money, I meant it.
