I have never owned one ofthepedal- though when Itried the chorus and preamp they sounded good and well made--- too big though forwhat I was doing a the time----- these days my main guitar amp is a Trace V4 bass amp- 4 - KT88s, beautiful clean and it really likes overdrive pedals and it will cover bass if needed.....

I have the Dirt Box, Dual Compressor and Graphic EQ. The copmressor and eq are designed specifically for bass. Not sure about the dirt box, though I use it for bass. The compressor is constantly in my lineup. It really defines my tone. The eq is, well, what it is. It does, however have a nice feature in the preshape tone controls. You can add a couple of different tone control settings with or without the eq section switched in. The dirt box is a decent overdrive box with boost. I used it rather extensively until I got an EBS Multidrive.
