heres some info for you.. I have not offered them up for sale yet.. There are 3 of them floating around right now.. Michael Katon just finished all the clips today.. I will have more info and some VERY badass clips posted very soon.. These clips will feature bypassed tone, neck and bridge pickups with various settings via control knobs at the guitar.. Mike pulled out some interesting early clapton licks for the demo.. I'm stoked!!!
This is the rude cousin of the CoT 50. It has more gain and volume, but no knob. It is a specialty pedal, with no frills and no knobs to get in a way of the tone. Some people liken the sound to an overdriven tweed combo.

very cool morgan.. I really have to get off my ass and send ted some balance pedals!! LOL!!
Thw woody's price is goin to depend upon what paint job I do I think.. The orange is very time consuming.. I hope to get it all together and set in stone by mid Oct.

I have one of the Woody's, it is bad indeed. Loud and a lot of gain. Like most of Sean's pedals, it is not a compressed sound. I lent my Woody to a friend who has a CoT 50 and he ordered one immediately. He used to be a Klon FD II guy, now all he uses is a CoT 50 and a Woody. For a Strat player, I think it is the next step up from a Cot 50.

thanks Sean, those are some of the first woodies I did a couple years ago......
I really like that Orangy one up there, looks kind of like a melted dreamsicle, makes me hungry......
(Hey beck I wont crap on the lovepedal thread anymore----- Eternity and Toxic are first rate pedals !!)
I had a variation of the woody and it is a really cool pedal....i did a clip for Sean it took you thru 3 different shades of gain with the volume knob...sweet indeed...dont know if he still has the clip or not.

Yeah, i don't think the balance has gotten the press it deserves. I love it on it's own and into my honey bee. It's such a cool pedal that really does it's own thing. And now the toxic made the board as well. It's probably wrong that i have 2 fuzzes and 3 overdrives on my board...

where in the chain do you use the Balance, and at the 3pm-6pm setting how much gain is there? i just nabbed a Balance on the 'bay and am looking to slot it into the "drive" group which currently consists of a modded Boss PQ4 in slot 1 followed by:
PPF -> Honey Bee -> Timmy -> Easyface (still considering other pedals to replace this as i really don't need 2 channel capability, and would like a MXR-sized box. looking at: DRD and McFuzz)
i'm also thinking about replacing my Bad Bob which sits last in the chain, (after the modulation section), and was planning on getting a RC Booster, a BJF SBEQ or a Baby Pink Booster, but after hearing the Eternity clips, i think that might do a great job in that slot as well. especially based on seans description that it can go from clean to od.

Hey jonc, for my current configuration i have the balance set up to do dual duty. It's after my Mayonaise (big muff clone) where it functions as a lead volume/slight gain boost and before my honey bee where it works in that combination as strictly my higher gain/color boost. I have it set at about 1-2:00.
The balance does some really cool stuff after 3:00. It gets kinda fuzzy, a little darker and juicier. There's a fair amount of gain in there, but not huge, maybe jcm800 levels of gain. I guess it depends what you're running it into. If you've got some amp gain, it really feeds into that nicely. My only gripe is that it's impossible to get unity volume with the balance when it's cranked that high (unless you're feeding it into something else). But it does sound really good. I really like sean's pedals, i think they're some of the best open sounding tones out there, but they can be hard to incorporate into a board because of the lack of separate vol and gain controls (and in the case of the woody, no dials). But I'm sure that's why they sound so good and natural. So it's all a tradeoff.

thanks morgan. lack of separate controls have made several pedals less-than-practical for my situation. i realize that lots of players use their volume knobs to control gain vs. volume, but that doesn't work for me.
for example, i really like the agressive voicing of the Neo, but had to pass on it since i couldn't control it at higher gain. now if it had separate level/gain/tone controls, it would be great. but then it probably wouldn't sound as good. then again, i played a RC Booster and it sounds great and offers full control.
i'll see how the Balance works and go from there. it was another of those impulse buys which typically turn out so-so, but maybe this time...
thanks much!
