I am getting some custom made pickups for my Rickenbacker 12-string. It currently has hi-gains on it (which sound quite ok).

I am not particularly interested in getting toaster tops as they are really expensive in Europe and no place in the states ships directly (They retail at 150 pounds sterling each which is just shy of $300)

I am fairly certain that a bladed p-90 would work quite well in the bridge for giving a jangle?

I am also thinking something single coil for the neck.

Any suggestions/opinions?
