I just heard about this. Essentially, Vintage Vibe Guitars are offering dummy coils for single coil pickups.

This is installed in the control cavity of a guitar and bucks the hum while not being a humbucker. With a push pull pot you can take it in and out of the circuit should you so wish.

I know a lot of people aren't fans of noiseless pickups because they feel it compromises the sound. That said, I am sure that quite a few people have favourite guitars that are great clean but get more than a little hairy when a bit more gain is added, so this seems like a really good idea. Noiseless at the touch of a button (or push/pull pot as the case may be)
