Happy Holidays! Anyone out there using Sansamp for their setup. I am thinking of putting together a new floor setup. Using my Boss line selector and switching between 2 Sansamp GT-2's. One set for a SVR sound and the other for a high gain sound. I know Tech 21 makes the Tri-od, but with only one set of EQ controls for 3 sounds, it won't do the job. Also heard that switching between channels has a delay.Buying 2 GT-2's used would not set me back too much. Probably will sell off some other stuff so I can hit the front of the GT-2's with a good pedal like a Fulltone. Looking to end the chain with my script MXR phase 100 and get a good analog delay. This way it stays analog all the way. If anybody can warn me if it's not a good idea, let me know. Count me as one of many who bought and then had remorse after keeping something past 30 days. Looking to cover material from SRV & Rory Gallagher on the bluesier side of rock to full on Robin Trower, Richie Blackmore, and Loudness.

I use a Sansamp GT2. I think with a single
unit, you can hit on the sounds (SRV and
heavier). I have a guitar with a humbucker
in the bridge and a single coil in the neck.
You can set the GT2 heavy and roll off the
volume for an SRV sound. You need a cap
to roll off low end as you roll of the
volume, but it is easy to do. I have an MP3
that shows the variety of sounds yo can get
by using just the volume, if you are interested.
