Those do look cool!

So, it looks like a sustainer that can also magnetically dampen the strings? Maybe it turns up the magnetic power, to kill the sustain?

Kinda like an EBow, too.

I wonder if it'll take off?

Well, it certainly doesn't come cheap. I think with an investment like that, I'd want to play it everyday for a week before buying it, just to make certain that its features aren't gimmicks that get old quickly.

It looks interesting but it's priced too high for most folks.

Like the Gibson Digital guitar, or the TransPerformance automatic tuners, or MIDI guitars, or fretless guitars ...

Maybe someday when the technology is cheaper ...

How is it that different from the Fernandez sustainer? Did you read the F.A.Q.? It needs special "Moog strings" to work it's best.

Seems to me that it does quite a bit more than the Sustainer - though the price certainly is prohibitive.
