Oooooh boy, I hate to start this one, especially in the current el crappo economic times, but it seems like it's been a while since we've done this. Feel free to expound, as I'm sure I will as well (I'm getting senile..).

Pharaoh Sweet Cheetah--Sumbitch!!! This will be my THIRD ONE (in about 5 years)!! I think I'll just crazy-glue this one to my ass and get it over with. I actually had one of the early ones with FUR on it a few years back---PIMPY!! Rockin'little pedal, I'm glad to have one coming back!

Boss Dimension DC-3--This is my second one. I sold the first about two years ago and have missed it some. This is the programmable one, not the one with the preset sounds. Probably one of the coolest things Boss ever made. I think I have some nice use for it with the new band.

Gibson Flying V--I went thru a MAJOR FLYING V kick back in 2005. I've since also been on a Yngwie strat kick and Carvin Allan Holdsworth kick. Well, I've been on a Les Paul kick of epic proportions for a while now and shall remain so. The new band is delving into some slightly heavier old school rock/metal and I miss having a Gibby V w/ebony fretboard--hence, here we go again!!! This is one trip I'm ready to take again (I'm a huge Priest/Schenker/UFO fan). Big Grin

Honorable mention: I really dig the Heritage guitar line. I have a superb one that I'm just crazy about. I liked it so much that I did a little wheeling/dealing and landed that one a 'cuzin'....(Happy Birthday to MEEE!!!) Smile Razz

One that comes to mind immediately is the Boss DD-3 Digital Delay; I've had around 4 of them in my 20 years of playing guitar. My latest one is an early MIJ model (big chip, same as the DD-2) and it isn't going anywhere. Also, the venerable Boss SD-1 Super Overdrive, I've bought one of those 3 or 4 times as well...it's a great low-bucks overdrive that I like to keep handy.

I had an OCD v.1 that I traded off about a year back and I've been thinking of picking up a v.4...I really liked the OCD, should've kept it....

Pedals I’ve bought, sold, and bought again:

2 MJM Blues Devils [one Gold, one Blue]
2 Landgraff DOs
2 AC Boosters [one old format, one new format]
2 5knob TBIACs with trimmers, one 5knob without trimmers, and an 8knob
2 EGDMs
2 HBODs
2 5knob Howies, one 8knob
2 big box Gainsters
2 Teese TMC3s
2 Blackstone ODs
2 Framptone Amp Switchers
2 OCDs [one v.1, one v.3]
2 COT50s [a Little China, and a Red]
2 Eternitys [a Sunburst, and a White]
2 Coopersonic Tube Overdrives
2 Voodoo Lab PP2s
2 Goodrich volume pedals [one standard profile, one low profile]
I bought a TTS and later replaced it with a TPT [close to the same pedal]
I bought a Tim and later replaced it with a Timmy [close to the same pedal]

Currently I have two boards – one for P&W, one for a weekly blues jam. I have a Coopersonic tube overdrive on each board; other than the Coopersonics and two PP2s, no other duplicate pedals – wait a while and that will likely change...

Well for me it started with the Fulldrive 2. I was kinda collecting them for awhile. I had 4 different versions at the same time for awhile. After I sold those, I tried a couple more. I'd say I've bought and sold the FD2 at least 6 times.

After that it would be the AC Booster (no thanks to you Willie B) I'm on about my 4th one. For some reason this one sounds much different and better than the others I've had. I bought it for the TS type sound, but it doesn't really do that. I'm using it more for crunch tones now.

Beyond that, I've had doubles or owned a pedal twice, at least 100 times. Yes I know I'm sick.

My second Hotcake is in the mail. I'm also on my second Super Duper, tho this one has the redesigned paint job, so it's practically unrelated.....

When i first found Toyz and started gassing boutique style, the first pedal i wanted was a Super Duper, mostly cuz of the clips on the Zvex site. Well, right around then was pre-release for Box of Rock. I stuck it out and bought the Box instead of the Super Duper, and that Box and a Hotcake were my first boutique purchases. I think the Hotcake was traded for a FDII. BoR is still here, and i really don't need the Super at all, but i think it's just because of that original gas that i have bought it twice.
I've definitely considered buying a Fuzz Factory a second time, and i always think i want a Fulltone of some kind, but i have sold off all the ones i have owned because i have always found something better (for me).

cheers

I'm relatively new at this, so for me it's just been a few things: FD2 in a couple of iterations (don't own one now, though), Barber Tone Press (had one, bought a Keeley, sold the Tone Press [d'oh!], sold the Keeley, bought another Tone Press). I own three Strats right now (Tex Mex, American '62 RI and Custom Shop NOS), and I've had several Martin D28s over the course of my playing life--of all the instruments I've owned, that's the one I'd never want to be without.

Financial purges suck..

I sold the neck off my Custom Shop Twisted Tele - too small a profile for me. Bought a flamed chunky neck and slapped it on, haven't looked back.

Sold my beloved Honeybee "Shamus OD".
Sold my nice parts strat.
Sold my Pro Junior practice amp..

Sniff...

But, I got married, had a great honeymoon, and am almost out of the woods!

When things get better, I'm going for Tiny Terror..

Yo WillieB, lemme borrow one of those "Pauls" kimosabe!

I don't have it as bad as you guys. But, I have done this dance a few times........

Currently searching (in vain) for my old Ibanez Artist Semi-Hollowbody AM80. Black with Creme binding. Neck heavy, but a GEM to play! Traded it straight across for my 1959 Princeton. I'm happy with the Princeton (Duh!), but want that Ibenhad back.

In earlier days, I had a SCHWEEET G&L SC-1 "student" guitar. I pawned it, go it out. Maybe 6 different times. Actually sold it to a couple of Pawnshops, and 2 or 3 different friends. Pawned it a couple more times, and finally had o let it go. Still smarting from that one!

Sill want another FD2.........But, I'll probably go with a Tejas instead.

Fish Factory-2 (kept 1)
Red Snapper-3
London Fuzz-2
Tim-2 (kept the last one I bought)

I've bought different versions of a lot of the Menatone pedals but I don't think that really counts because they changed in form and function quite a bit sometimes.

I've had 2 BBOD's. I wasn't terribly crazy about the first one, so I sold it. I got one again about a year later that I worshipped (later serial #, which apparently sound a little different) but I had to sell it when I got in a tight spot financially. I will have one again.

I'm currently on my 3rd Dyna Comp. I'm real wish-washy about comp's being part of my sound, so I just run out and buy one when I get the itch.

I bought 2 cry baby's before I realized it wasn't me that sucked...of course my big brainiac move was to switch to a cry-baby 535Q I had a GC gift certificate)...which I have to say greatly reduced the "suck"...but that was before I got here, now only a Teese will do... Big Grin
