I would get a quote for a case with wheels and pull out handles... that makes anyone's life easier.
A picture to illustrate...
Something like that

Thanks for the ideas guys. I actually might go for the Pedaltrain just because it is slightly cheaper and comes with the PPII already installed underneath.

It does? From where? I see that the new ones come w/ an undermount bracket for a PP2, but I haven't seen any that actually come w/ the power supply.

On Ebay, check out this link: http://cgi.ebay.com/NEW-PEDALTRAIN-PT-2-HC-w-VOODOO-LAB...sidZp1742.m153.l1262Not that mounting a PPII would be too much of a hassle but, hey, somebody took the trouble already.

There you go. Not bad. I just went the total opposite way and ordered the small red Trailer Trash board, figuring it's really for my home rig and will probably never leave the house. I called them back and asked about the glow-top upgrade: they custom wire them AND install the customer's pedals on every one. The cost for 8 pedals on a small board would be around $850 in addition to the cost of the board itself. Maybe if I win the lottery.

It's either in my backseat or my trunk or in somebody elses...the handles/straps are a bit shakey though BTW, I 've had to do a little fixin' now and again...but the board is cool, velcro is top notch... I love the Trailer Trash...but couldn't swing it at the time...$850+ to hold my pedals...hahahahahahahahahaahahahahaha...oh sorry...thats a lotta dough...

That's what my wife said, pretty much. I still want one of those glow-tops, but unless some nice little windfall comes along (big advance on the next book, maybe) I can't see it happening. A nice display board, but if I ever did buy one I'd be embarrassed to tell anybody how much it cost.

True dat.

Yeah, you could probably use those "Neon Running Lights" they make for the Low Riders! Auto Zone carries that stuff. You could build a pedalboard and use a Plexi glass sheet for the "Deck" where you mount the pedals. Just drill screw holes for mounting the pedals about 1/2" apart in rows. then, you could move the pedals to new screw holes, if they are different sizes. And you wouldn't have to use Velcro, that might make the board look messy. Just a thought!

What's the "Boss Tone" pedal? Do you like it?

I was looking at an automotive lighting site just now: you can get flexible LED strips pretty cheap, any color you want. Called the guy and he said they can be applied w/ double-sided tape. The trick would be powering them; apparently they're twelve volts, and could be powered by a wall outlet. Or maybe a BBE Supa Charger? There's also a widget that makes your lights flash in time with your music, though it appears to take an output from the car stereo system. I'm liking the Pedaltrain low-rider idea a lot.

The Bosstone is the new re-issue of the old Jordan Bosstone. Toyz carries them. In '67 and '68, the Jordan was my first fuzztone. It plugged into the guitar. Mahoney has released an identical effect in a floor unit recently. That's what this is. Yes, I like it a lot. It IS your father's fuzztone, and it's not for everyone. It's got the juicy overtones that aren't heard much anymore, and fuzz straight out of the '60's. MeZa

Doesn't the Dunlop DC Brick have some 12v plugs? There's probably a step up or step down transformer you could use too. EX: from 18v to 12v, or 9v to 12v. I think it's something they use with RVs and Campers all the time.

3 18v. The Fuel Tank has 1 DC 12v, I think. Not sure if these LEDs would require AC or DC. I had a DC brick and man, it was a noisy sumbitch. Lots o' super high-pitched whine that instantly disappeared when I upgraded to a PP2. I don't know if it was my house or what (2-prong outlets throughout), but the damn thing was practically unusable.
