3 18v. The Fuel Tank has 1 DC 12v, I think. Not sure if these LEDs would require AC or DC.

I had a DC brick and man, it was a noisy sumbitch. Lots o' super high-pitched whine that instantly disappeared when I upgraded to a PP2. I don't know if it was my house or what (2-prong outlets throughout), but the damn thing was practically unusable.

The problem with the Brick is that it does not have isolated outs. They are all tied together. For that reason alone the PP2 is superior.

I have several PP2's and they are the best pedal power supply on the market.

I'm thinking you could do it with two meters of high quality LED rope lights and some heavy-duty double-stick tape. Total cost maybe $70.

See here: http://www.oznium.com/led-ropelight

Okay, who's going to take the plunge?

Oh alright, I'll play along.
This is my latest and according to band mates, greatest board. Forgive the lack of tidiness--I'm working on that today.

Then that goes into this..... Big Grin Big Grin Big Grin

Now--you can hear me... Razz

Here is my current PB. This was with my Rivera rig but with my Budda I doubt I will use the Hotcake much. The Tim will probably do duty on the clean channel to add a little grit.

Willie!

Is that a BUDDA cab? LOL

Dosmun,

How do you like the X2 Wireless? Any dropouts or glitches?

P.S.

Try running the Hot Cake or Tim in the EFX Loop. You might like what it can do there.

I've had no problems with the X2 so far. Sounds much better to me than the AKG Bug I had before.

The only issue I had was with a power supply that wasn't putting out enough current so the Receiver would shut off every so often.

Woo hoo! It worked! Thanks to all who helped me figure out how to post photos. Big Grin Computer genius I am not.

That stealthy-looking black object on the upper right is a Korg pitchblack tuner. Lots of stuff not shown, of course, but this is the basic board I'm hauling to our (rare, thank God) gigs these days. Needless to say, our other guitar player (who plays rings around me on most stuff) makes fun of my gear obsession. Question for you guys: is my older white-knob OCD a V1? If so, how's it different from the current OCD?

Now that I've figured out how to do this I've decided to arrive "fashionably late" to the party ...

Cool Ken! How does the GT-500 work for you? No one really talks about that one anymore.

I LOVE my GT-500 (version 1). You'll notice that my volume levels on it are set pretty low because it does have a ton of output, which I guess was adjusted(?). It is also very aggressive in the mids and highs - as in NOT smooth or pretty - which is precisely why I like it. The boost side is really nice too for bring out clean passages as well as boosting leads. I use it Dist > boost.

That Tejas Trem is a prototype Willie. No battery option, 9v. only. I like it because of it's size and the jack placement.

Okay, I'm just not a "Comp" guy! That Keeley has gotta go. I wish I could make one work for me. I've seen/heard a lot of great sounding rigs that use them. But, for me.......Nope.

Now, what will I do with that open slot? Put my HotCake clone in there? Another Boost/OD type pedal? I don't know.

Decisions, decisions!

Hello all, here's my actual board:

RMC Picture Wah > Custom Line Driver > AM Mini Bicomp > TBIAC > Eternity > Honey Bee > DLS Echo-Tap > Cusack Tap-A-Whirl > Strobostomp

Power Supply is still a DC Brick. IMO good enuff, no issues at all...

Hi guys -- haven't posted lately, but I can't resist a good Pedalboards thread...

Boss FV-100 volume > Fuzz-of-the-week [Fulltone 69 in place of the Experience right now] > Bi-Comprossor > RC Boost > TC Nova Mod > Analogman TS9 > Texas Two Step > Brown Rabbit > TBIAC > TC Nova Delay

The BiComp (Ross side), RC and TBIAC are always on, not adding much gain or volume, but they do wonders in conditioning the signal, maintaining treble, body and definition through to the amp. I rarely use the TS9 by itself, but it's great for pushing the TTS or Rabbit.

Some of the other fuzzes I pop into that slot are Fuzz Factory, Soulbender, '70, Frantone Sweet, and even an Ibanez FZ7 (which has a great "broken" setting).

The TC pedals are new additions, and I dig them a lot -- the Mod is two pedals in one, and you can get some really creative stuff happening: trem + vibrato synced, two trems not synced, phase + flange, double choruses, etc. -- sky's the limit! The delay sounds great, and does most of the L6 DL4 stuff without the drawbacks (like volume drop and sometimes mushy sound).

I don't play live now, so this is set up to sound good in my home studio -- to sound "loud" (and even get feedback) at pretty low volumes. 90% of the time, I plug in a Fender '63 Tele Relic; my amps (run clean) are a Mission 5E3 Deluxe (Weber ceramic Blue), Fargen Epic 30 (into Jenkins cab w/2 Weber alnico Blues) and Fender Custom Vibrolux Reverb (modified, w/Celestion Vintage 10s).
