Can anyone give me a suggestion for a good-sounding, workable multieffects pedal? Right now I have amassed a huge 4 foot by 2 1/2 pedalboard full of non-boutique yet great sounding pedals. The problem I have is it can be noisy (duh) and I dont have any room for the thing on stage---with 4 other members, their instruments and their amps; it's a squeeze. I have looked at the Boss gt-3 and the Gt-5 and they look pretty versatile, but I dont have $350 or $550 to blow on something I dont end up liking. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The Korg Multi fx units are pretty decent for around $250-300.

But if you want something even cheaper, I have a mint condition Boss ME-8 (with optional EV-5 pedal) for sale which is like 20+ Boss pedals with better sound quality and greater control. Very easy to use, and has everything one would need for gigging.
