Beats me. Pete isn't a very computer friendly person so the website doesn't get updated very often.

This gig is tomorrow night (Friday, May 16) for anyone living in or around NYC.

I'm going to try to hustle down there before midnight...

Just got home from the gig.

Laroosco tore up the fretboard!
Great gig, so entertaining, lots of fun and showmanship from the singer/stand-up bassist.
These guys are all about having a laugh and shakin' your booty to the toons.

George passed out on the way home (I drove),
still sleeping in my car as I write this,
I couldn't wake him up for nuthin'.

George took pics and grabbed some audio on his recorder, let's hope he posts it soon
(post-hangover of course).

I highly recommend the Twistin' Tarantula's ... check 'em out boyz!

I can second that. I got in just after the 2nd set and had a drink with Paul, George and Laroosco. It was great to hang, but the show was really a lot of fun and L played great.

It was a while since I really had fun at a venue. Thanks for the heads up!

The Twistin' Tarantulas are a fun band to go see in the Rock-abilly vein.
Complete with stand up bass and Loro on a ES-335 through a Marshall with 4-12" cab and a drummer the band is really entertaining and quite talented group.

Here is a pic of me after a ride in Paulie's car.
The car should come with one of those yellow warning labels!

It was a real pleasure to meet Lawrence and Richard.
It's a funny phenom.... you're friends with guys for 6 or 7 yrs,
then you finally get to meet them face-to-face!
It's really like we were old friends.

If you check out the recording this is using a Korg H-4 recorder.

There is no set up time or proper mic placement issues with this one. I stood in the back of the room and pressed record.

This make the H-4 a great tool for checking out what your tone sounds like live as the clip actually sounds just like what I was hearing in the room.
