I can't figure out how to post the little clips I made on youtube. Any Mac users that can help me?

So, do you mean how to *share* those videos or ?

"make video, file->share->compress movie to..-> ready" sign in to Youtube, then upload, thats it.

I've done that in the past, where exactly do you get stuck?

Oh, I can't figure out how to get the "Event" and "Projects" sorted out. The screen is always split in 2 when I open iMovie. I know how to film using the iCamera, but that's about it. Even selecting the entire video is tricky, never mind editing. I'm all confused & it's pretty sad. Can either of you take me step-by-step from the time I finished filming something?

Try THIS or THIS hope it helps?

I´ll give it a try..

1. Connect camera and open iMovie
2. Click on the little camera symbol and
import the material to your computer.
3. It all ends up in Events sorted by date..
4. Created a new project by clicking the + symbol to the right and name it. Make it a describing name since that name´s what ends up on youtube.
5. You select the hole lot of pieces of the clips in "Event" and drag it to your project.

That´s it. Go ahead and publish. You need to log in on youtube as well.

Don´t hesitate to ask me further questions..

i movie tip:
to save your movie in a good audio format, ( after all the above steps mentioned) click on 'share' under 'file' menu.
when the screen comes up , select quiktime at the top of the screen.

then under the menu "compress movie for", select "CD rom"

this gives full quality audio but reduces the file size for easy utube upload.
