That looks and sounds like fun but at $4.00 a gallon and 2500 miles I really couldn't justify the commute - lol!

Decent recording too! The 335 and Marshall is a great combo.

Nah, he konked out on the way home to my place.
He was cuttin' some serious wood too!
Well, they were some kickass margarita's.
Big tall sucka's, enough to give you a serious freeze-head!

That recording does sound good.
It was done with this great machine of his,
which I believe George was just holding in his hand.

The recording does sound good. Too bad it's such a goofy song Smile

Hopefully He got a recording of some of our original stuff. It's just my luck that the one song that gets posted is the one I wish we could drop from the setlist. Ok, now I just sound like a complainer Roll Eyes Big Grin

It was great to meet everybody. I had a great time Friday. New York is a very cool place. We will probably be back in the fall so maybe I'll see some of you again.

I just hope that Carl can make it next time

I want to get one of these Zoom recorders now, that recording sounded really good. This thing would be great for getting song ideas down without having to boot up my Boss BR-1180...even this thread is giving me G.A.S! Smile

Dang G!
With your black jacket on and that recorder in your hand looking like some kind of crowd control device ("Don't taz me Bro!") you must a looked like a big badmo bouncer!
You did have that beer for me right?!

Exactly!! Further proof they really were the bouncers. Here's Paul's secret handheld recorder:

This thread got me to thinking that we should have a "Gig Calendar" on this site. I mean it really is cool meeting guys that you have known for quite some time but never met in person.

I suppose there would have to be a "Euro", "US" and "Canada" Gig Calendar.

Anyway, I have always supported the arts and love live music of all sorts.

As far as Loro's band goes I was not sure how Rockabilly would have been received in NYC but I have to say the crowds seemed to have loved it!
Long Island crowds blow but NYC ROCKS!

My H-4 came with the much needed Taser attachment which is only available to NY buyers since we need it the most. Big Grin

Seriously, the only thing the H4 needs is a larger memory card as the one it comes with is only good for about 10 minutes of hi-res recording. I ended up buying a 2 Gig card which is plenty. The recording was done in low-res MP3 setting as I have found this to be the easiest to post or email. I recorded just shy of the entire show which was an hour and a half and still had memory left.

Regards,
George

Lol! We do have a gig calendar on this site : "Gigs, Jams, Gatherings & musicians wanted!". Right underneath 'gallery of your gear'. Nobody uses it except for guys who don't post here - which is totally cool by me - and some spammers.
