Has anyone tried theses? Any thoughts on it?
The Fat Finger is a brass object you clamp onto your headstock. I'm kinda curious, so any feedback is appreciated.

Thanks!!

Cheers,

Don't waste your money.I've had 2 (reasons I don't want to go into),I gave one away and the other I use as a paper weight. It may,and I emphasize "MAY" help a really cheap piece of junk sustain and focus more but on any decent guitar the only thing you'll notice is more weight at the headstock.

Wow, that bad huh? Great, thanks for the info. I just thought it was something that "might" work. As I get more feedback though, it seems negative. Thanks again.

I use a Fatfinger with my Les Paul Classic, and I've found it improves the sustain and balance of the guitar noticeably. In particular it tightens up the bass a bit and lets the guitar sing in the mid-range even more than it does on its own. It's not the answer to all your problems, but it does what it's supposed to do.

I was originally interested in one too, until I heard people putting them down, but now I am wondering again if I should try it out. Heck, Joe Satriani uses them and I think he knows a bit about what works and what doesn't. Unless of course he has a endorsement deal with them....then I would be a bit skepitcal again...
